Dr. Vicki Smithers and her husband David are owners and founders of Counting Stars Ranch in Ore City, TX. The 76 acre ranch is nestled in the piney woods near Lake of the Pines and Barnwell Mountain Outdoor Recreational Vehicle Park. We have 2 fishing ponds and acres of walking trails.
Our mission is to provide military veterans, first responders and their service dog support and a peaceful place to rest, relax and renew at our BnB. We host free family R&R weekend getaways once a month to a military veteran or first responder-with service related disability. Service dogs are welcome.

Dallas Skydive Center
So, you want to be a skydiver huh? After your first tandem jump at Dallas Skydive Center you can enroll in our Accelerated Free Fall Program (AFP) to become a licensed skydiver. With just 25 jumps, you can skydive anywhere in the world.
Here at Dallas Skydive Center we take not only our safety, but our customer’s safety as our number one priority. We use the same tandem skydive equipment the U.S. Special forces use, inspected by our very own FAA Certified Rigger. To top it off, all of our parachutes are packed by our top of the line packers. We want to make sure you have fun while skydiving safely.
DSC is open 5 (winter) to 7 (summer) days a week and offers a wide range of available times for customer convenience. Booking is made simple with the option of booking online or over the phone. Pick the day you wish to jump and we can tell you the times we offer for check-in. We love to make your experience great, so Shut Up and Jump!
